Here are some yoga poses(asana) for losing weight:

 1.VAJRA ASANA (ROCK SITING pose) :

How to perform-
In this asana, we sit with flexed legs while hands are over knees and back straight. Body is resting over the ankles.

it improves leg muscles and shapens legs and cures gastric problems also. 

2. TRIKON ASANA(Triangular pose)  :

How to perform-
In this pose or asana, we stand with feet apart, try to touch opposite hand to foot while other hand is raised up and look upwards.

This pose helps losing side fat and improves legs flexibility. 

 

3. ARDH MATASAYENDRA ASANA:

How to perform-
In crossed leg sitting, one leg is placed over the other so that the foot touches opposite hip joint where as hand supports the spine while looking back.

This pose controls weight and obesity, shapes the body, improves spinal flexibility,back and abdominal muscles are strengthened and toned up. 

4.HAL ASANA(Plough pose) :

How to perform-
From lying position start raising the legs so that they touch the surface behind the head.

Back and shoulder muscles are improved.

Improves eyesight 

5. BHUJANG ASANA(cobra pose) :

How to perform - 
Lye down as your your  chest is towards the ground and legs straight, start raising the upper part of the body without the support of hands while looking up.

6.PASCHIMOTAN ASANA:

How to perform-
Sitting with straight legs in front. Legs stretched while trying to touch the forehead to the knees, hands hold the feet.

The benefits of this pose are it controls weight and prevents obesity, back and leg muscles are strengthened and relaxed. 


7. MATSYA ASANA:

matsya asaana



How to perform-
Lie on your back. Your feet are together and hands relaxed alongside the body. Keeping the chest elevated, lower the head backward and touch the top of the head to the floor. 

Benefits
The benefits of this pose are it cures asthama problem, controls weight, also cures constipation problems.
